The Air Conditioning & Mechanical Contractors' Association, is the only industry/employer association that is exclusively dedicated to serving the interests of companies employed in our industry.
AMCA has developed a member benefits package which sets out the minimum services that you can expect to receive.
These minimum benefits, which are either provided directly or through arrangement with external suppliers, are comprehensive in themselves. Additional benefits also may be provided and these vary from state to state. Through the network these services are accessible by all members.
Services are delivered in various ways including personal consultation, the provision of publications (eg. manuals, bulletins, guidance notes, etc), forum, events and training and education courses.

INDUSTRIAL RELATIONS
You are afforded the benefit of industry coordination and exchange of information at regular meetings.
The Association can provide industrial representation and advocacy.
You are kept up to date by the provision of timely information, including manuals and bulletins covering a variety of current industrial relations developments, federal legislation, termination of employment, and workplace agreements.
EMPLOYMENT - LABOUR COST AND AWARD INFORMATION
Through member bulletins and circulars, the Association provides information, covering award provisions and conditions in both the plumbing and metals industries.
You will also receive comprehensive information on current employment conditions and model employment agreements.
LEGAL AND CONTRACTUAL
The Association arranges for the provision of legal advice to members. It also provides ready access to legal firms for the assistance of your company.
Information in specialised areas, such as GST, contract documents and business law is provided.
The Association arranges and provides courses in contract administration.
TRAINING
The provision of training information and courses is widespread and comprehensive.
Maintains close liaison with training providers including PEER / VEET and TAFE Regency Park. allows the AMCA access to current information on training and courses for all members.
Members also benefit from the Association’s active participation in course development and representation on industry training committees, councils and boards.
ECONOMIC - COMMERCIAL INFORMATION AND STATISTICS
The Association provides valuable information on current projects, industry statistics, and forecasts. These are supplemented by tender information in relation to mechanical services contracts
SOCIAL FUNCTIONS
Contractors require occasions when they can meet, speak with their peers, and participate in professional development programs.
The functions listed below form a key part of the Association's social calendar. These are events where contractors can meet with other industry personnel and establish solid business partnerships.
